STARTING FROM SCRATCH
As a child I grew up with a mother that loved to cook and bake. Especially for others than her own family. Catering for a party of 10 or 100 it was something she was good at and people loved. Growing up, I remember being at my mothers side the most when it came to baking. Seeing her measure, mix and pour. I was just itching to lick the spatula of batter. Now I have taken on some of the cooking skills of my mother and turned it into a hobby. Baking cupcakes mostly for my own family, birthday parties and special occasions.
“PEPCAKES?” Ever since I was a child I was called “PEP.” A name till this day no one can tell me where it started, where it came from and who started it. I am still called pep by close friends and family. So coming up with “PEPCAKES” was a name that people could hear and know automatically who they are from. A unique name that comes from great people, great memories and a great child hood. A simple hobby that has turned into something sweet.
